Support for charities is one of the many services Legions provide in our communities and our province.

Legion branches individually support many organizations in their communities. Organizations such as the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Salvation Army, Diabetes Association, March of Dimes, Sunshine Foundation and many more have all received support from Ontario Command branches. Funds from clubhouse operations and lottery proceeds, help us support these worthwhile causes.

Ontario Branches and Ladies Auxiliaries' have contributed annually to the Easter Seal campaign, with donations of more than $2.6 million since our support began more than 30 years ago, donating over $65,000.00 in 2007.

Support of this kind is possible because of the countless volunteer hours contributed by Ontario Command branch members. Whether assisting in lottery operations, or helping serve a banquet, or even manning a garage sale, members of Ontario Command branches work tirelessly to ensure that needed programs in their community are able to continue.
