She enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army in 1942 and served with the Canadian Women’s Army Corps at the Ottawa Headquarters during World War II. She was discharged in 1945. Hazel passed away in 1992. HEATHER, Robert Walter Robert was born in Tortonto, ON in 1914. Radio officer Heather left Toronto in 1937 and joined the Marconi Company in Britain. He was a member of the Canadian Army Reserve (Artillery) during the early 1930s. Robert was lost at sea on December 10, 1940 in the North Atlantic when his ship the S.S. Silverpine was sunk by an Italian submarine. HEATHER, Kenneth George Kenneth was born on September 7, 1930 in Toronto, ON. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force and served with Fighter Command. Kenneth was killed while serving in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a navigator on a CF100 Fighter in North Bay, ON on August 2, 1956.
