He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on February 8, 1949 and served with No. 424 Squadron. In 1953, he served at the Queen’s Coronation. He was discharged on March 30, 1964. George has been a member of Lion’s Head Legion Branch 202. BRAY, Stewart W. Stewart was born on October 7, 1921 in Raglan, ON. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army on January 20, 1943 and served as a corporal with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry in England, France, Belgium and Holland. He stepped on a landmine that shattered his right foot. He was awarded the 1939-45 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defense Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with Clasp and the War Medal 1939-45. After his discharge in 1945, he farmed and worked for General Motors in Oshawa building cars and trucks. He has been a member of Brock Legion Branch 141 for 54 years. BOYD, Roy Roy was born in Orillia, ON in 1923. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army and served with the 28th Canadian Armoured Regiment during World War II. Roy was killed in action in Schelt, Holland in 1945.
