101 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND CONLEY, Robert G. Robert was born on August 4, 1921 in Dunnville, ON. He enlisted in the Army on July 13, 1940. He served with the Lincoln and Welland Regiment in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe during World War II. He was discharged on December 6, 1945. He was awarded the 1939-45 Star, the France and Germany Star, the Defence of Britain Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, and the 1939-45 War Medal. He also received the Lincoln & Welland Hat badge and WWII Discharge Lapel Button. He was a member of Port Colborne and Humberstone Legion Branch 56 for 10 years. Robert passed away on October 29, 1995. CONSTANT, Earl David Earl was born in Glasgow, Scotland on September 9, 1917. He enlisted in the Air Force in July of 1942 and served in Southeast Asia with the 354 Squadron during World War II. He was based in India and Ceylon, attached to RAF Coastal Command flying B24 Liberators on reconnaissance missions hunting Japanese ships in the Indian Ocean, Andaman Sea and Malay Peninsula. Earl was discharged in April of 1946. He has been a member of Legion Branch 272 Hespeler for seventy years. CONNORS, Ronald G. Ronald was born in New Glasgow, NS on March 30, 1954. He enlisted in the Army in September 1969. He served with the Nova Scotia Highlanders, the Lord Strathcona Horse, and the Royal Canadian Dragoon 31st Hussars. He served in Pictou, NS, Gagetown, NB, Calgary, AB, Medicine Hat, AB, Germany, Cyprus, Egypt, London, ON, Petawawa, ON and Sarnia, ON. He was discharged in January 1999. Ronald has been a member of Sarnia Legion Branch 62 for 20 years.
