He enlisted again in August 1950 and served with the Royal Canadian Regiment in Korea. He was discharged in September 1952. He started Last Post Legion Branch 410 in 1979 and was Charter President. He has been a member of Last Post Legion Branch 410 for 33 years. Robert passed away on July 22, 2012. DAVIS, Edwin T. Edwin was born on October 29, 1922 in Tillsonburg, ON. He enlisted in the Army on September 3, 1939. He served with the Army Service Corps in England, Africa and Italy during World War II. He was a mechanic and worked on jeeps during the war. He was discharged on July 17, 1946. After the war, he took over his father’s jewelry store in Tillsonburg. He was a member of Varnavair Legion Branch 153 for 57 years. Edwin passed away on December 27, 2012. DAVIE, John H. “Jack” Jack was born on December 22, 1923 in Gravenhurst, ON. He enlisted in the Army in January 1942. He served in the Army Medical Corps and was an army administrator with 5 Field Hospital in Italy, Holland, and France. He was discharged in March 1946. John was a member of Harry Wray Legion Branch 302 for 30 years and was a Secretary/Treasurer for 18 years.
