181 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND GRAHAM, Hugh C. Hugh was born on January 16, 1909 in St. Marys, ON. He enlisted in the Army on October 6, 1941. He served with the Royal Canadian Ordinance Corps during World War II. He was transferred from England to Italy as Ordinance Corps reinforcement. He was compulsorily transferred into the Infantry because he had voluntarily enlisted. On December 19, 1944, he asked to be transferred to supply but this was denied and his platoon was machine gunned on December 20, 1944. Hugh was killed in action on December 20, 1944 in Lamone River, Italy. GRAHAM, John C. John was born on April 5, 1908 in St. Marys, Ontario. He enlisted in the Army on June 10, 1941. He served with the Prince Edward Island Highlanders in England, Germany, Holland and Canada during World War II. He was discharged on March 8, 1946. He was a member of St. Marys Legion Branch 236. John passed away on June 15, 1979. GRAHAM, John B. John was born on February 25, 1921 in Toronto, Ontario. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in February 1942. He served in Europe during World War II. John was discharged on October 1945.
