He served on HMCS Outremont and HMCS Restigouche. He was a radar plotter and reported to the A Block quarter master of HMCS Stadacona for his first posting. While on board HMCS Restigouche in the spring of 1965, he participated in exercise springboard in the Caribbean. He was discharged in September 1965. Robert has been a member of St. Marys Legion Branch 236 for 5 years. GRIDLEY, John W. John was born on February 27, 1931 in Timmins, Ontario. He enlisted in the Army on August 14, 1950. He served with No. 2 Royal Canadian Regiment in Canada, the United States, Korea and Germany. He was discharged on October 26, 1957. John has been a member of Western Manitoulin Legion Branch 514 for 29 years. GREGORY, John Henry John was born in Flint, Michigan on May 18, 1924. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1939. He was discharged in 1941. John has been a legion member for 75 years.
