He enlisted in the Army and served with the 22nd Regiment Royal Rifles in Canada and Italy during World War II. Wilfred was killed in action in Sicily, Italy in 1943 and is buried there. BOYD, Frank R. Frank was born on December 21, 1922 in Toronto, Ontario. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in November 1943. He served with No. 101 Squadron in England during World War II. He was shot down on the last trip of his tour in February 1945 and was taken prisoner of war in Germany for about 80 days. He was discharged in October 1945. Frank has been a member of Fort York Legion Branch 165. BOVENS, Louis Louis was born in Oranjestad, Aruba on October 30, 1938. He enlisted in the Dutch Army in April 1956 and served with the Dutch Commandos in Dutch Guyana. He was wounded in his left thigh. He was discharged in October 1959. Louis has been a member of Cobourg Legion Branch 133 for 39 years.
