7 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND A MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN It hardly seems possible that another year has passed and we have now completed year three of our Military Service Recognition Program within our Ontario Command. Another outstanding and successful book that will help identify and recognize many of our Veterans within the Province of Ontario. Veterans who have served their country well during times of conflict and peace. When we introduced our program over three years ago, we were somewhat skeptical as to just how successful we might be with our program. Well that skepticism was certainly eliminated after the great success we enjoyed with the publication of our first book. And that success has continued including this, our third publication. The success that we have enjoyed though would not have been possible if it would not have been for the combined support, cooperation and dedication of our Branches, Zones, Districts and Command in promoting our program on a regular basis throughout Ontario Command. So my sincere thanks and appreciation goes out to each and every-one of you for your involvement and assistance. Keep up the good work! A special thanks as well to our hard working committee members that include our two coordinators, Carolyn McCaul and Mary Ann Goheen. Their hard work and dedication towards our program has been outstanding. A special thanks as well for all of the support we have received from our staff at Ontario Command and our President, Brian Weaver. I also wish to thank our publishers Fenety Marketing for all of their support, cooperation and understanding in making our first three books so successful. Last but certainly not least, I congratulate and thank all of our Branches, Veterans and their families who have participated and continue to participate in our important and special program.
