107 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND BULL, Gordon Melville Gordon was born in the Barton Township, Hamilton, Ontario on March 9, 1926. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force on October 5, 1943 and received his basic training in Toronto. Sergeant Gordon Bull served as a wireless Air Gunner in Canada during World War II. He was discharged on October 22, 1944. In civilian life, Gordon worked with Proctor & Gamble in Hamilton for forty years before retiring. He currently resides in Hamilton, Ontario. BULL, Maxwell Cuthbert Maxwell was born in Tauton, Somerset, England on May 31, 1899. He enlisted in the Army and was Sergeant Major during World War II. He served in Canada and in England with BQMS 11th Field Artillery. He served more than four years in the Canadian Active Army and was discharged after three years of service overseas in England. After the war, he worked at Income Tax Federal Building in Hamilton. Maxwell passed away on October 6, 1961 and is buried at Woodland Cemetery in Hamilton, Ontario. BULL, Kenneth Hamilton Kenneth was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on May 13, 1922. He enlisted in the Navy and served with the RCNVR. He was stationed in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia during World War II. He attained the rank of Stoker 1st Class. In civilian life, he worked and retired from Stelco in Hamilton. Kenneth died of a heart attack on July 7, 1969 and is buried in Woodland Cemetery in Hamilton, Ontario.
