I would like to thank The Ontario Command of The Royal Canadian Legion for producing this publication, which recognizes and celebrates Ontarians who have either served or are still serving in our Canadian Armed Forces, the Commonwealth or Allied Forces. As you read the many stories of valour contained in this book, you help to fulfill an important tradition of remembrance. This is a sacred trust that honours the many brave men and women who have served our country and defended the values that are the foundation of our society through their sacrifice and dedication.
