He served in World War II from December 1943 to December 1944 in the RCAF and as a Peacekeeper from January 1945 to October 1972 in the Army. He served in Canada, Germany from 1955 to 1957 and Congo from 1960 to 1961. He is a member of the Legion Branch 32 Meaford. DOUCETTE, Arnold U. Arnold was born on December 23, 1914 in Peterborough, Ontario. He enlisted in the Navy on September 22, 1943 during World War II. He served in Canada and Newfoundland. He was discharged on December 12, 1945. Arnold married and had four children, one son and three daughters. He loved hunting, fishing and cottage life. Arnold passed away on January 1, 1960. DORRINGTON, Creighton D. Creighton was born in Truro, Nova Scotia on November 15, 1941. He joined the Army and served in Cypress/Turkey as a Peacekeeper. Creighton settled in Sudbury, Ontario. He had one daughter and worked for Inco for 33 years as a Production Miner. He was a member of Legion Branch 76 Sudbury, Ontario for over thirty years. Creighton passed away on October 18, 2013.
