151 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND FOSTER, Stanley William David Stanley was born on December 6, 1912 in London, England. He enlisted in the Army in 1942. He served with the Ontario Regiment during World War II in England, North Africa, Italy and Holland. He came home on Queen Mary in 1946. He was a member of the Legion Branch 419 for seven years. Stanley passed away on July 7, 2000. FULLICK, Henry James Henry was born on August 7, 1919 in East-Lorra Township, Oxford County. He enlisted in the Air Force on February 10, 1941 and served in Summerside, PEI during World War II. He received the Queen’s Jubilee Medal for his service to his country, his Legion Branch and service to his church and community. Henry was discharged on September 10, 1945. He has been a member of Tavistock Legion Branch 518 for 64 years. FRASER, Wilfred Garfield “Garry” Garry was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on July 17, 1923. He lived in Copper Cliff, Ontario. He enlisted in Army in 1939. He served with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry during World War II. After basic and advanced training in Canada, the Regiment was split into three infantries, the Royals, the Essex Scottish and the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry; Garry was in the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry. He went overseas, landing in Scotland, went to England guarding coast. Garry was in the invasion of Normandy, advanced to Belgium and Holland. The war ended when he was in Holland and was discharged in 1945. As of now Garry lives in Windsor, active and home owner. He was a member of the Legion in Barrie, Ontario.
