This sixth edition in the series devoted to recognizing veterans and ex-military service personnel throughout Ontario coincides with the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day landings of World War II. Our Canadian troops made history as part of the Battle for Normandy, which initiated the effort to liberate western Europe from the Nazis.
