By recognizing the valor and the pride of our veterans in the pages of Ontario Command’s Military Service Recognition Book, the Royal Canadian Legion is protecting their legacy. This book is a living testament to those who served before, and a reminder of the devotion to duty that can be found in the ranks of the Canadian Armed Forces, the Commonwealth and Allied Forces today. As Premier of Ontario, and as a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Coronation Branch 286, I want to thank the Legion for the extraordinary role that they play in our communities. From educating the next generation about the sacrifices made to safeguard our shores, to supporting veterans as they transition to civilian life, the Legion works every day to preserve the true meaning of duty and sacrifice.
