5 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT On behalf of all Legion members, it is truly my honour to welcome you to the Sixth Edition of our Military Service Recognition book! This latest edition continues to honour our Ontario Veterans, both those living and those who have passed - To those who defended and to those who continue to defend our Canadian values, our freedom and our way of life. The MSRB, Volume VI, displays photographs and narratives of many hundreds of Veterans, bringing us a little closer to these courageous men and women who were, and are, available when it matters most! MSRB will help preserve a little history and allows our Veterans to share their incredible stories with all, including our future generations. Partnering with Fenety Marketing, this project has, to date, earned approximately one million dollars for Ontario Command. These funds have been solely dedicated to assist our Veterans with transition programs. We are grateful to the MSRB committee Chairman Ron Goebel, and our committee members Mary Ann Goheen, Carolyn McCaul as well as our fantastic Provincial Headquarters staff for creating and growing this highly sought-after publication. It is a credit to the creative talents of these members, and this certainly upholds the Legion's mandate of Remembrance. Thank you all! Every single Veteran! We Will Remember Them!
