Military Service Recognition Book

5 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT With this publication of Volume 7 of Ontario Command’s Military Service Recognition Book, we are reminded to remember. In fact, remembering is our mandate. This project, in its 8th year now, is a labour of love for a few dedicated Legionnaires. Ontario Command Chairman Ron Goebel, Ontario Command Correspondent Mary Ann Goheen and Ontario Command Public Relations Officer Carolyn McCaul have all gone above and beyond to bring us another quality product. The MSRB delivers value in several ways: 1) photos and descriptions of our Veterans are front and centre, keeping their memories strong; 2) the branches receive books free of charge for their members to peruse; 3) income is generated for Ontario Command through in-book advertising, which is spent on Veterans transitions programs. We are excited about the publication of our Volume 7, and the annual promotion of Veterans and preservation of their memories. Lest we forget. President Garry Pond The Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Command
