Military Service Recognition Book

5 www.on.legion.ca ONTARIO COMMAND With the Military Service Recognition Book, we commemorate and remember the Veterans who have protected our country and way of life for generations. Keeping these memories alive is a published mandate of the Royal Canadian Legion. The Military Service Recognition Book is delivered free of charge to Legion branches, libraries, community centres, town halls and other selected locations. By generating revenue through advertising, this project, in its 8th year, supports manyVeterans transition programs. This book is also a way for our community members to celebrate their family military heritage, again free of charge. I am proud to serve as President of Ontario Command, especially for the way it keeps its promise to remember Veterans. We are indebted to the volunteer work done by Ontario Command Chairman Ron Goebel, Ontario Command Correspondent MaryAnn Goheen and Ontario Command Public Relations Officer Carolyn McCaul. Thanks as well to those volunteers at District, Zone, and Branch levels who continue this incredible work. Even though COVID-19 has left its impression, it never stopped us from doing what the Royal Canadian Legion does well. Recognize and Remember. Lest we forget!
