She enlisted in the Navy in October 1966 and served as an UN/NATO Peacekeeper and Reservist in Shelburne, Borden, Halifax, Greenwood, Cyprus and Rwanda. She was discharged from service in September 2007. She was a resident of Timmins and Elliot Lake from 1947 to 1966 and is now a member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 95 in Bedford, Nova Scotia. BALDWIN, Robert Robert was born in Ireland onAugust 21, 1741. Colonel Baldwin was given charge of the First Regiment of the Durham Militia during the War of 1812 in Upper Canada (Ontario). Robert passed away on November 24, 1816. BALDWIN, J. Russell Russell was born in Toronto, Ontario on May 23, 1922. He joined the Canadian Division of the British Air Force and served in England during World War II. He was a military pilot who sustained an injury but was able to go back to active duty before being discharged in 1945. Russell passed away on September 14, 1992.
