President Ontario Provincial Command
Although Garry was born and raised in Newfoundland (a Townie), and knows the value of his hearty heritage, he now brings this enthusiasm to his home in Carleton Place, Ontario, where he began his Legion leadership journey. Rising through the ranks from humble beginnings, he is now proudly the President of Ontario Provincial Command.

- Governor General's Sovereign Medal for Volunteers
- CD - Canadian Forces Decoration
Work Experience:
- 23 plus years Military Service with Canadian Armed Forces
- 22 years as Consultant with Canadian Armed Forces - logistics and material management
Legion Experience:
- Provincial President Ontario Command
- Current Member of Dominion Command Membership Committee
- Provincial Membership Committee Chairman
Goals:
- To continue to lead the Royal Canadian Legion through purposeful communication
Garry has many interests outside the Legion including sports, darts, reading, camping, guitar playing and singing and walking the country trails - just to listen to his wife describe a perfect pickle ball game. And, he is truly enjoying his experience with the Royal Canadian Legion.
