Military Service Recognition Book Volume X 80 At St. Joseph’s Health Care London’s Parkwood Institute, we are home to more than 100 veterans. We provide respectful, compassionate care to these brave men and women who served in wars and conflicts around the world. We also care for Canada’s current and next generation of veterans through the Operational Stress Injury Clinic, providing specialized mental health services for veterans as well as those in the Canadian Armed Forces and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Occasionally, our planes carried nuclear bombs and once they were loaded, only an armed guard and the pilot were allowed near the plane. One of my favourite memories was meeting a short order cook. I’m most proud of marrying her and raising three sons.”
