He served with the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals in Canada and the United States. He was discharged on August 9, 1988. Upon retirement, he owned Octagon Heating. Charles has been a member of Hollowood Legion Branch 425 for 6 years. DOUGLAS, Robert G. Robert was born on March 1, 1927 in Toronto, Ontario. He enlisted in the Army on May 17, 1946. He served with the Canadian Provost Corps in Canada, Japan, Korea and the Middle East. He was discharged on March 25, 1967. He was a member of Port Perry Legion Branch 419 for over 20 years. Robert passed away on June 5, 2002. DOUGLAS, Edward G. Edward was born on March 4, 1914 in Lambton County, ON. He enlisted in the Army in July 1939. He served with the Elgin Regiment and 4th Divisional Headquarters Squadron in Holland, France, Belgium, and Germany during World War II. Edward was discharged on September 18, 1945. He was awarded the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp, the Defence Medal, the 1939-45 Star, and the France and Germany Star. He was a Chartered Member of Leslie Sutherland Legion Branch 447 and was a member of Sarnia Legion Branch 62. Edward passed away on May 12, 1984.
